As a child… How would you picture yourself at 30?
JOB – How did you decide to do this job? When I was a young adult, I had a regular lifestyle, worked for my parents in their shop, and graduated from a top-range journalist school. But already by the age of 14, I dreamed about becoming an actress or a model and going to fancy parties. I thought I was only living in my dreams… To me, the most important, isn’t really what my job is or the paycheck at the end of the month, but what I am and what I really enjoy to do.
I always dreamt of being a sophisticated women in NYC, when watching movies and series such as Friends and Sex & the City.
HOME / PLACE OF LIVING – Where you thought you would be living by now? I was living with my parents in a small town in the mountains near Salt Lake City, where everybody know each other. I only wanted to get out. I always dreamt of being a sophisticated women in NYC, when watching movies and series such as Friends and Sex & the City. One day, I decided to be on my own and to experiment life: “be adventurous and explore the world!” So I quit everything, bought a way ticket to NYC, a city where I did not have a place to live nor a job or even knew anyone. My first day in New York was the worst and hardest day in my life. I wanted to push myself!! I only bought a one week subway pass … now I’ve been here for 7 years

Striking and memorable events…
IN YOU PERSONAL LIFE – What are the most memorable event of your personal life? My move to NYC clearly shaped me because I clearly went out of my comfort zone – whereas I was raised to be married young, have babies by now, and work near my family!
BEST MEMORY – What is your best memory? For sure, this is one that involves my family. I’d say when my family and I went on a cruise to feed dolphins. I remember that I was so scared (nldr – I am scared of fishes) but essentially laughing and joking with parents and brothers.
GREATEST ACHIEVEMENT – I am proud of listening to myself instead of the others. I always follow my intention, do whatever I want to do. That’s a real success, because I was raised by my family in a way that I was always concerned by what other people were thinking of me.
Looking back / Reviewing expectations
TODAY – My life is quite the opposite. I don’t have a regular lifestyle, I enjoy my job & my daily activities. For example, I dare to sing, act and run. I really enjoy it, I learn and improve every single day. I am quite happy with this lifestyle – if I did not make the move, I would have missed so many things including knowing the world.

30 years old, a turning point?
WHAT’S NEW? – Did you notice some changes since you are 30 YO? I thought being 30 would change a lot of things when I was around 28. But in fact, it did not change anything. A lot of my friends have a list to do before getting 30. I don’t! It is not a cut off time for me. I don’t really care about being 30, I am confident enough to just do not care.
I feel I am younger now because I am not so restricted… The older I get, the freer I become.
CHANGES OR REGRETS? What are the things you would like to change? I regret not to try new things earlier on. (But who knows what would have been the impacts on life at that time… Never know). I regret not have been interested in school: back then, it did not mean anything for me. I leaned Spanish, but I don’t know anything about it, I learned geography, but I don’t know anything about it…
My Values

My Typical day

And tomorrow?
YOUR STORY IN 10 YEARS – What is the story you want to tell within 10 years? I’ll be married, probably with 2 kids. As a job I’ll be a mother, a writer & a producer. With my husband, I hope we’ll be able to open a community, such as a “tree houses”, where you can sleep, practice yoga, provide healthy food, make our own products. I really want to get back to nature and basics.
THE WORLD IN 10 YEARS – How do you imagine the world you will be living in within 10 years? I feel people are starting to realize how bad the world is now (consumerism, way of eating …), but I am not sure it will change in the next 10 years.
Fears and Dreams…
FEARS – What are you afraid of? I am worried about bombings and shootings. As well as, my parents and people getting sick and dying.
ACHIEVEMENTS – What are the things you want to achieve? I hope I will be happy and healthy with the people I love.
DREAMS – What is your craziest dreams? In the world, I hope people will care about each other, and stop being strangers! For me, I would like to go on a première and be on the red carpet for the movie I would have written.
